Ketchikan

The Ketchikan port offers plenty of shopping and sights all short walk from our cruise ship. Traditionally the port was most commonly used by fishermen and ladies of the night in the famous red light district.

Sitka

Sitka port does not have much to offer right off your boat. If you're not signed up for an excustion to get to the shopping district your will have to jump on the free shuttle downtown. A short walk from downtown is the Tongass National Forest a breath taking rain forrest with plenty of sights.

Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier

This was the highlight of the cruise, we sailed in the 30-mile-long fjord the colder it got the better the views got. While some of my photos came out amazing, they do it no justice to what I saw in person.

Juneau

Juneau port was pretty close to the Endicott Arm fjord. My wife and I did not book any excusions at this port but the the shopping district right of the dock was top notch if shoping is your thing.

Victoria

Victoria is the only port stop in Canada. The downtown city is a photographers dream especially if you're into flowers. We took a bus to the Malajat Skywalk, which is a 10 storey viewing tower. After you take in the views at the top you have the option of using the 20-meter slide to quickly get down.
